There are several privacy features for the members, victim and organization. Team codes expire so ongoing tracking stops. Codes are unique and protect the members in the search. When the team expires, ALL data is deleted. We don’t keep it and government cannot get what has been completely deleted.

How is privacy protected?
Privacy for team memebers is protected by:
- Search parties expire between 4 and 72 hours
- Search party codes are unique
- No data is stored once the search party ends
- Members can go “invisible” at any time
- Members can leave a search party at any time
Can I leave the search party?
Yes, at any time. You will find the option under the Settings menu.
Am I tracked after the search party ends?
No. The team code is voided and you can no longer see each other on the map. PubSafe deletes all search party data and does not track users until they are in a team.
What if there is an emergency?
There is an internal emergency button. This is not monitored by 911 or emergency services, it is only monitored by other team members. It can be activated on the Home menu or the red triangle on the map.
Are messages logged in the app?
Yes. All messages are stored in the app until the team code expires. They are then deleted permanently.
What is a mission brief and how is it used?
The mission brief is documentation of the core details of a search party. It provides contact information and victim details every search party member needs, including photos.
